General news and info from playgroup
I am sad to say that this is my last posting as Senior Playleader at Gargunnock Playgroup as I am moving on to take up a new post in Cambusbarron. It has been lovely spending time with parents and children and I am very grateful to you for giving me the privilege of being part of so many children’s early years experiences. Its incredible to think that the first children I saw through playgroup are now at university, college and in the big world of work. The years have just flown. I wish you all well and leave you in the safe hands of Louisa and Pauline.
Our new term at playgroup starts on Thursday August 24th at 9am in the Community Centre.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a big day for our summer leavers who will be starting school. We hope it all goes well and are sure you will have great fun!
A big thank you from both Louisa and I for the lovely gifts and especially the kind words we have received from parents and children. They are very much appreciated. We wish you all a great summer and hope the sun shines for us all. We wish our school leavers the very best, we know they will love school, and look forward to seeing some new faces and our returners back at playgroup on Thursday August 24th 2017
Enrolment form for next session (2017/2018) now available
Our duty parents for our last week of playgroup before the summer holidays are Louise (Monday) and Mairi T (Thursday). We will be having a small presentation to our school leavers at the end of both sessions. Parents are invited to come back around 11:20 if they would like to see this.
We are planning on making our Potorama entry next week for the Flower Show in August. This year we will be planting an apple tree and the children will (hopefully) help decorate apples to hang on it until it is big enough to produce its own apples.
